What is perseverance? 

“Perseverance is one of the most important keys to success. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you don’t persevere, you’ll never achieve your goals. The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.” – Zig Ziglar

You can make it. How do I know that? Because you are alive. Despite what the news says about the job market and inflation. The fact that you are here today reading this article, is a statement that you overcame another day. No one can escape the duality of this world. Money may seem to be the solution to the world’s problems. But when money is thrown around to solve a problem it is a bandage over a severe wound. I’m sure you have seen this with either governments or corporations that aren’t ethically sound in what they do. 

Mankind’s patterns

Sometimes we may question life, but it is good to look at it as a lesson to learn from. Each negative setback is a chance to evolve into what God wants us to be. Slow down look within and remind yourself of God’s love. I have to stop and tell myself that I am made in the image of God when the ego wants to recall my negative circumstances or live in the past. But we can change our reality. As I take time to look within and count my blessings. I know that all things are possible with God. We all tend to focus on the negative and validate it. In the evolving world, we need to be able to look at Higher Power to overcome the daily challenges. How do I know this? Having faith in a Higher Power doesn’t make someone less civilized. If they truly are spiritual, they will have a strong moral code without a sense of judgment on other people’s beliefs. Accepting them where they are in their state of awareness. That is true religion. Having an awareness to know that in life we will be tested on how we respond to challenges. We can look at this as how we can understand God’s love to deepen our connection with the Spirit. Each of us has a purpose in life. We are each an individualized expression of God. Once we have that in our identity. We can learn to cultivate a higher consciousness to handle any storm in our lives. Because in reality, everyone will go through something. I’m sure even Bill Gates has problems in his personal life he has to overcome(especially with the amount of money and attention he gets).

Getting to the root of the solution

Anytime I feel that my ego wants to tell me what my current situation is. I speak life. I acknowledge my relationship with God and then speak the truth about my relationship with God and declare my needs, wants, and desires with thanksgiving. Doing this gives me a bird’s eye view of what I do have and what I can do. Then I can put the intention to what God has for me based on my dreams. In the meantime, I see grace in areas of my life and keep it stored away to look back on and see how far God has been with me. You can say it is my journal of “favor” from God. I’m in essence counting my blessings literally. That is the Good News. Taking time to meditate, write in my journal, and be mindful has led to a peace that can’t be taken away. 

Conclusion

When you can look back on your victories and remind yourself that God is love. You will become more aware that you are not alone. That life is about evolution to make the world a better place. As technology is getting more advanced it will become important to learn to draw on God to not let technology take us backwards in society by war, crime, and destruction. We all have free will. Let us use it for a change in how we react to circumstances to define a better reality here on earth.
