Starting a foundation
Is there something you always wanted? Are there dreams or aspirations you have for your life? There is nothing wrong with dreaming about having a better life. Or being in a relationship that supports and loves you unconditionally. Anything that is positive for your life should always be sought after. For the name of the Creator is LOVE. The Spirit always wants the best for you. But first we all must recognize that. Once you understand that, you are in a good place. Each obstacle or setback is not because we did something wrong, or that we are “sinners”. It is an opportunity to release the essence of the Mind of God in each of us. For me, I have learned that I must look within.
Set the right intentions
Here is a reality. If people treated their spirituality with importance as they did with their job. Maybe things would be a little different. That is just an assumption. But what if? Most people plan their days according to their work schedule. Their alarm wakes them up at a certain time. They wake up, take a shower perhaps and brush their teeth and change their clothes. Then take whatever form of transportation they need to get to work on time. Simple and routine. Yet a lot of people hate their occupation. This is sad to say.
Put your heart into it
That being said. Each of us has a personal ego that wants us to stay where we are. Mostly this side of us is hard to ignore. That each day we wake up and feel stuck where we are. But there is a time when we will have to take a leap of faith. I have been there. I have had a disappointing job here and there. I left a job that people considered a stable job and paid decent. But I saw the signs and recognized the negative trend that was happening in the corporation. Even though I took a job that pays less. I have more peace in my heart about what I did. Because I know the current position I’m in is temporary. I know if I spend the time to look within, things will work out positively. But I must have the intention and put in the work.
Do you believe?
Now, do you understand that everything works in cycles. A good example of this is the course of nature. We know that after winter there is spring. Even though climate change has been making things look in-between the seasons. This is the same of life. We all go through ups and downs. But, I look at it this way. In the winter is the time to do the hard work and push the ego aside. Winter could be many different things for you. It is open for interpretation. This a time to lean more on the Creator to develop your character and purpose. That is why I believe we all need to develop the right connection to the Higher Power. You will need to believe in yourself as well. It is one thing to believe in GOD, the Universe or a Universal Intelligence. But if you can’t feel yourself achieving your dreams. You may be in true lack.
Life is about process and intention
I like to take time to myself to make sure my energy levels are aligned. I have a habit of using my mornings and evenings for that purpose. I have learned to have my own space to do that. As well, expressing gratitude in the little things. Looking for opportunities with discernment. Asking for guidance with confirmation. Receiving a sign with thanksgiving and acceptance. These are just a few of the things I do to get the ball rolling. But the hardest thing is the most fulfilling, that is surrendering. Each day is a chance to live in the present. So never take that for granted.
In conclusion, the premise of this message is to believe in yourself and take the time to connect to the Most High. Then have a plan to put in the work.
